School on "Controls on Sandstone Diagenesis"

We’re happy to announce – and hope to not need to cancel the event again – the 3rd edition of the school on “Controls on Sandstone Diagenesis” that will be held in at the GeoZentrum Nordbayern of the Friedrich-Alexander Universität of Erlangen-Nürnberg (Germany) from the 22nd to the 26th of August 2022. We have received extraordinary feedback after the last two editions, particularly in relation to the focus on the combination of the pre- and post-depositional controls on diagenesis and eventually reservoir quality. We’re happy to repropose this format and expand it to other application of diagenesis and reservoir quality, particularly in relation to geothermal energy and carbon capture storage (CCS). The International Association of Sedimentologists (IAS) will be providing travel grants to his student members.
