7th Working Group on Sediment Generation Meeting

The 7^th WGSG meeting will be hosted by the University of Coimbra, taking place in its Campus 2, between 10-12 September 2026. All locations for the different activities are within walking distance. More detailed venue information for each activity will be sent in due time.

This meeting will serve to promote integrated research on sediment generation, dispersal patterns and accumulation, both in recent and “deep” time. We expect that the involvement of some of the most prestigious researchers in the investigation of the composition of clastic sedimentary deposits will ensure inspiring discussions.
