Sedimentary Provenance Course
The Sediment Provenance Course will take place during the 7th, 8th and 9th of September at the Department of Earth Sciences (Campus 2) of the University Coimbra.
This 3-day course will be focused on the most important methodologies used today in the investigation of sediment generation, including bulk geochemistry and mineralogy, petrography, varietal studies, detrital geochronology and thermochronology, image analysis and machine learning, and compositional data analysis.

Course Information
Fees include access to seminars and practical sessions, course documentation, as well as lunches and coffee breaks. Participation in the course requires registration in the 7th WGSG meeting.
